Create a Future Review for an Employee

A Future Review allows managers and employees to begin planning for the next review cycle while the current review is still active.

Future Reviews are useful when your organization discusses an employee's recent performance while simultaneously setting goals and documenting notes for the upcoming review period.

Once the current review is archived, the Future Review automatically becomes the employee's active review.

Create a Future Review

  1. From your homepage, locate the employee under Direct Reports.
  2. Select the employee to open the Review Hub.
  3. Select the Future tab in the review timeline.

  4. Select Add a Goal to begin creating goals for the next review period.

Update a Future Review

You can return to the Future Review at any time.

  1. Open the employee's Review Hub.
  2. Select the Future tab.
  3. Continue adding or updating goals and notes as needed.

What Happens When the Current Review Is Archived?

When the current review is archived:

  • The Future Review automatically becomes the employee's active review.
  • Goals and notes entered in the Future Review are available for the new review cycle.

This allows managers and employees to prepare for the next evaluation period without waiting for the current review to be completed.
