How to Address a Disapproved Review
As a manager, you may encounter occasions where someone disapproves the review for one of your direct reports. In this situation, updates will need to be made to the review and re-sent back into approval with those completed changes!
Here is how you can address a disapproved review if this happens to any of your direct reports' reviews!
From your Trakstar dashboard, you will be able to see when an employee's review has been disapproved. This will reflect the name of the disapprover, as well as the word disapproved in red. Select the Review & Approve button in order to see why it was disapproved.
Selecting this will bring you into the Approval tab of the review, where you can see the instructions left by the disapprover. You can also select View to the right of the disapprover in order to see if they left any other comments throughout the review.
Through the act of someone disapproving a review, this automatically re-opens the manager review. That way, the manager can already have access to make the changes that have been requested.
Once you have updated the review, you can select back into the Approval tab and click the Send for Approval button in the bottom-right corner. This will send the review back into the approval step and will resume at the person who disapproved the review.
