Build and Manage Groups (Departments)
Groups help further define an employee's place within your organization. A group typically begins with a department, such as Accounting, Sales, or Warehouse, but you can create additional group types to organize employees in ways that support your reporting needs.
For example, you might create groups that allow you to report on the performance of employees in the Warehouse department at your Springfield location.
Access Group Settings
- Sign in as an administrator.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select Groups.
Your organization may already have one or more groups configured. These groups may have been created during your organization's initial data import into Trakstar Perform.

Within the Groups page, you can manage your existing group structure.
You can:
-

- Rename an existing group type by selecting Edit.

-

- Save the employee updates.
- Once all references to the group have been removed, return to Settings > Groups.
- Delete the group.
Important: A group cannot be deleted while it is still assigned to one or more active employee records.
