Best Practices: 30, 60, 90 Day Reviews
Once a new hire gets going, it’s easy to assume they’re doing great — and forget to do regular check-ins on their progress towards the team and company goals.
🗓️ Recommended Progress Check-Ins
After the first week, we recommend scheduling progress checks using the Performance Review Module at:
- 30 days in
- 90 days in
- 6 months in
- 1 year in
🔎 Why These Check-Ins Matter
Each check-in helps you answer key questions:
- How is the employee progressing?
- What gaps or opportunities exist?
- What goals can we set for the next time period?
💡 How to Build Accountability
To make sure these check-ins happen and stay meaningful:
- Set them up in the Performance Management module
- Create relevant questions and goals for each review
- Encourage employees to self-assess
- Managers can then score and provide feedback
