Best Practices: 30, 60, 90 Day Reviews

Once a new hire gets going, it’s easy to assume they’re doing great — and forget to do regular check-ins on their progress towards the team and company goals.

🗓️ Recommended Progress Check-Ins

After the first week, we recommend scheduling progress checks using the Performance Review Module at:

  • 30 days in
  • 90 days in
  • 6 months in
  • 1 year in

🔎 Why These Check-Ins Matter

Each check-in helps you answer key questions:

  • How is the employee progressing?
  • What gaps or opportunities exist?
  • What goals can we set for the next time period?

💡 How to Build Accountability

To make sure these check-ins happen and stay meaningful:

  • Set them up in the Performance Management module
  • Create relevant questions and goals for each review
  • Encourage employees to self-assess
  • Managers can then score and provide feedback
