Integration: Workday to Trakstar Perform

The Trakstar Perform integration with Workday enables you to automatically sync employee data from your HRIS into Perform. This ensures that your performance management platform always reflects the most current employee information—without manual entry or spreadsheets.

Once configured, the integration will run nightly, importing updates from Workday into Perform, including new hires, updates to employee details, and deactivations.

What the Integration Does

The integration is a one-way sync from Workday to Trakstar Perform. It updates Perform with employee information from Workday on a recurring nightly schedule.

Use cases include:

• Automatically onboarding new hires
• Keeping job titles, departments, and reporting lines accurate
• Deactivating employees who have exited
• Ensuring SSO credentials and usernames remain consistent

Fields Synced from Workday

The following fields will be created and updated for each employee when a change is detected in Workday:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Email Address
• Hire Date
• Username (used for SSO login)
• Employee ID
• Manager ID (uses the employee ID of the manager)
• Employment Status (Active or Terminated)

Group Creation via Field Mapping

The integration can also map specific fields from Workday to Groups in Perform, enabling you to dynamically segment your workforce. These can be based on:

• Department
• Job Title
• Location
• Data from your Custom Fields

This is useful for assigning review templates, permissions, or workflows based on employee attributes maintained in Workday.
